Wheat stem art originate from Ch'in dynasty 2000years ago in China and have been certificated by the UNESCO as immaterial cultural heritage.
There is an old story about wheat stem art. Long-long years ago, one day, the first emperor of China was pursued and attacked by his enemy. He hided into the wheat field in emergency and avoided the enemy. At last, he defeated his enemy and founded the first unitive and powerful dynasty in China. In order to commemorate the emergency, the emperor ordered the artists in the palace to make an artwork with the wheat stems.
